A blend of perspectives
The Montgomery Charles Investment Committee is composed of eight highly qualified individuals, bringing together a wealth of experience and expertise.
Many hold Chartered Financial Planner status, alongside specialist qualifications in securities, dealing, and discretionary fund management. Their collective backgrounds include roles such as an investment risk analyst for a global insurance company, sitting on investment committees for large asset managers, and even running investment funds. This diverse blend of skills ensures that investment decisions are made with a deep understanding of both risk and opportunity.
Importantly, the committee blends youth, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives with the wisdom that comes from years of experience. This balance fosters a dynamic yet disciplined approach, where innovative thinking is encouraged, but always grounded in robust analysis.
A robust process
By maintaining independence from market fads and external noise, the committee ensures that investment decisions remain focused on delivering long-term value for clients.
All the research, discussion, and in-depth analytics conducted by the Montgomery Charles Investment Committee culminate in a structured and disciplined investment decision-making process, with the Committee meeting every six months to review and adjust our investment portfolios.
Once the committee has reviewed macroeconomic conditions, sector allocations, and individual fund performance, the final investment sign-off is made by our CEO, Mike Marigold. At this stage, the selection of investment funds and their weightings within the portfolio are carefully determined to ensure they align with both market conditions and our long-term investment philosophy.
