It’s been a fortnight to remember at Montgomery Charles, as we experienced success at two major awards ceremonies.
On Wednesday 19th March, we headed to the City of London for the Professional Adviser Awards 2025 – celebrating financial planning businesses which are “forward-thinking, sustainable, passionate and purposeful” – where we were delighted to be recognised in the ‘Best Financial Advisers to Work For’ category.
This award was made all the more significant as it was judged solely via the results of an employee survey, which was completed on an anonymous basis by staff working at the nominated organisations.
We were also a nominated finalist in the ‘Adviser Firm of the Year’ award – a real show of recognition for our hard-working team.
Barely a week later, we found ourselves just around the corner in London’s Guildhall venue for the City of London Wealth Management Awards 2025 (COLWMA) – a prestigious national programme which aims to “honour the expertise and commitment of (those) providing exceptional services within the wealth management industry”.
Again, we were finalists in two categories and up against stiff competition – and we were thrilled to be named ‘Wealth Manager of the Year, Wales & Western England’.

To be recognised on this level was an extraordinary achievement for our team, and a real endorsement of the customer-focused service that has been our benchmark for nearly 30 years.
CEO, Mike Marigold commented: “It’s been a brilliant couple of weeks for us and I’m hugely proud of the team. I’ve always believed that we offer a level of service that vastly outstrips our company size, and I think these awards back up that view. Every single member of staff here is vital to the cause and I see their dedication to great client service day in, day out.”
None of this would be possible without our wonderful team and clients – a huge ‘thank you’ to all of them – and we’d also like to say a huge ‘congratulations’ to all the other excellent firms who picked up accolades this month.
